Diversity

First of all, I find the response to my last post very interesting. Very insightful and I thank you all for your advice. I'm not

sure where to go with it yet.. what's possible and what isn't but I'm thinking about it, so thank you.

I am running late today but I wanted to write… so let's simplify this post:

1. I ran spotlight for an event the other day for Bronco's quarterback and Heisman trophy winner,  Tim Tebow.…

My Balancing Act….

Tuesday, March 1, 2011

I've been struggling with time lately and I'm not sure what to do. I've had this issue for a long time but now its at a point where I need to really figure this out. I'm sure someone out there can relate. So, if you can, I would appreciate any advice or input.

One of my main goals is to keep growing as an actor. In order to do this, I need to work on my craft. Well, last week…

February Rocks so Far!

Monday, February 14, 2011

It's been a great month so far and it's only the 14th. Oh yes, HAPPY VALENTINES DAY! I am not a big fan of valentines day but to those who love it, I hope you have a great one. I'm not bitter about it, I just hate that there's a lot of pressure that comes with the date. I don't like that roses get super expensive and people feel obligated to do something nice for their other half.…

I should be sleeping….

Friday, January 28, 2011

Today was an interesting day and I want to talk about it. So hooray to modern technology for giving me an outlet to ramble about my random thoughts (aka blog).

Anyhoo.. the company I work for had a National Anthem singing contest, which of course I joined. The winner gets to sing at an Orlando Magic game. I am not a Magic fan, nor am I a basketball fan, but the new arena where the Magic play is pretty darn…

The Agony of Auditioning Part 2

Tuesday, September 21, 2010

So where did we leave off? Oh yes… I'm in the waiting room… staring at the gorgeous Asian women as they walk in. The role I was auditioning for called for "ethnically diverse", not necessarily Asian, but these clones of mine were coming in. Gorgeous women, some older, some younger, but all gorgeous. So, I'm in my head. I'm freaking out. I work on exercises I learned in acting class to try to calm myself down…. "I feel calm in…

The Agony of Auditioning…..

Saturday, September 18, 2010

This past week has been a whirl wind when it comes to my career. It started with a taped audition, like many other taped auditions. My agent calls or emails, sends me some sides from either a tv show or a film, I put myself on tape, I send it in. I've done this numerous times before for shows like One Tree Hill, Vampire Diaries, Drop Dead Diva – as they all cast in the southeast – and not once…

Vacations… a write off?

Tuesday, August 24, 2010

So I just got back from an amazing four day weekend in Mexico. This has absolutely nothing to do with my acting life.. but I thought I'd share anyway. The reason we were down south was for a wedding of two amazing friends of mine. They planned an elaborate event and lots of fabulous cultural stops prior to the big day.

The day after we arrived, we visited the ruins of Huachimontones – these ruins / pyramids were discovered about…

Headshots!

Wednesday, June 16, 2010

I finally got my awesome pictures from the ever so fabulous Mikkel Paige! I'm telling you, this girl is so talented.

I am still going through the hundreds of pictures she took of me and choosing one for my new headshot. I love that she captured my personality so well! I'm sure it helps that we're great friends… but honestly, I love them!!!

I'd post a few but I'm not sure about copyrights and all that so I'll post the…

Watching Myself on Camera

Friday, June 4, 2010

As you probably know, I'm taking an auditions class. It's a great class and I am learning a lot but it's difficult. I don't know if my fellow actor friends feel this way, but let me try to explain.

I've been doing on camera work for about 9 years now (professionally) but most of the work I have done has been as a host, being me basically. Well, now I'm learning film work. It's a whole different ball game and…

Auditions!

Thursday, May 21, 2009

I've had a lot of auditions lately, which is strange for this time of year. I've had hosting auditions, acting auditions (which didn't go so well) and a couple voiceover auditions.

Tomorrow.. is a big one. Can't really talk about it but I'm excited. Whether I book it or not, I'm just thankful to have the opportunity.

I'm so excited!!!

Then, I get to spend the weekend with my family Yay!!!

Ok,… must sleep. Tired. Night night.
